Detailed description
Comprehensive description of the product and its functions.
HT2 heating element is an electric heating unit for a bathroom radiator, equipped with a curled electrical cable with a plug for a socket. Thanks to this it suits installations where the customer prefers connection via a socket instead of a direct cable connection from the wall. PMH describes it directly as a heating element with a curled electrical cable and plug.
HT2 allows comfortable electric use of the bathroom radiator outside the main heating season. It is useful, for example, for quick towel drying, briefly heating the bathroom or increasing comfort in periods when the central heating is not yet running.
The heating element offers 4-step temperature control in the range 30–60 °C, so the setting can be adjusted to current need. There is also a START–STOP timer that switches the electric heating unit off automatically after 2 hours, and a TURBO mode after which the unit returns to the previous setting after 2 hours.
In terms of safety and operation, HT2 features two-stage overheating protection, the ANTIFREEZE function to protect the liquid inside the radiator from freezing, microprocessor control and a colour LED display. The control can be rotated 0–330°, which helps with practical positioning according to the specific installation.
HT2 operates at the rated voltage 230 V, 50 Hz, has insulation class I and protection rating IPX5. Available power variants are 120 W, 200 W, 300 W, 400 W, 500 W, 600 W and 800 W. The product page also notes that it cannot be used with the horizontal Rosendal radiator.
HT2 is a PMH heating element for customers who want a simple electric solution for a bathroom radiator with a plug-in connection. It offers practical control, timer modes, safety functions and flexible use outside the heating season.
Most common general questions
What is the difference between a radiator and an electric dryer?
A radiator is primarily designed for space heating and can be connected to a hot water system, electricity, or combined operation. An electric dryer is intended mainly for convenient drying and warming of towels, without the need for connection to a heating system.
How do I know what type of connection I need?
The type of connection depends on the prepared distribution lines and the specific radiator model. Before ordering, we recommend checking the technical drawings and consulting the solution with a heating engineer or designer.
How do I know if the radiator will heat my bathroom?
It is necessary to know the heat loss of the room or at least its size, layout, and insulation level. An accurate calculation should be performed by a designer or heating expert.
What warranty do you provide on your products?
We provide a 5-year warranty on PMH bathroom radiators. Electric dryers, heating elements, valves, and accessories are covered by a 2-year warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and leaks, provided professional installation and correct use of the product according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Do you provide service?
For PMH products, we provide technical support, complaint resolution, and assistance with spare parts. However, installation and professional service interventions are carried out by a qualified plumber, heating engineer, or electrician.
